Accessibility Statement

We want every family to be able to use PrettySure. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard commonly referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we've done

• Semantic structure with landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a “skip to content” link.
• Color combinations chosen to meet AA contrast for text and interactive controls.
• Full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus indicator on every control.
• Labels and accessible names on inputs, sliders, and icon-only buttons.
• Live announcements for dynamic feedback (answers, saved progress, errors).
• Decorative icons hidden from screen readers; meaningful images carry alt text.
• Respect for the operating system's “reduce motion” setting.
• Large touch targets and a mobile-first layout that scales with zoom.

Known limitations

The math keypad and timer are designed for quick taps; we continue to test them with assistive technology and welcome feedback. Some emoji are announced by their system names.
