Pip woke up roaring, with plans of his own:
He’d climb and he’d dig and he’d build a throne!
He zipped past his breakfast, ignored every “Wait!”
Today would be perfect—he’d pick the fate.
But then came the voice that he heard every day:
“Pip, shoes on! Pip, clean up! Pip, not that way!”
“Pip, stop. Pip, now. Pip, what did I say?”
It felt like his whole name was bossed all the way.
